> Does your community relish a challenge?
> Is your community open to new ideas?
> Is it thriving?
> Does your village need a boost?

If the answer is yes to any of these questions then your community should be contesting one of the county village competitions in England. Scenic beauty is not important. What matters is care and achievement. The competitive experience is a great way of bringing a community together.

National contenders on tenterhooks...

39 villages throughout England are now awaiting the judges' verdict after making their presentations in the first round of the national 2007/8 Calor Village of the Year® for England competition.
