How to Enter |

Although there are five individual category winners, only those villages that enter a minimum of three categories can be considered as an overall winner for the Calor Village of the Year® Small Community or Calor Village of the Year® Large Community awards. The Small Community award is open to any village or rural community with a population of 1,000 or less; the Large Community award is open to any village or rural community with a population between 1,001 and 4,500. To be eligible for consideration your community must enter a minimum of three categories. Entries are made by completing the Calor Village of the Year entry form, which is available to download from this site, plus a written page of less than 500 words, telling us: ‘What makes your village a special place?' Both items must be returned by 1st July 2011 for the entry to be considered.
