Like Calor, CPRE are champions of the English countryside. The registered charity was founded in 1926 and has committed itself to protecting rural England and encouraging sustainability throughout the land.
CPRE has more than 60,000 members with a branch in every county in England. Over 2000 Parish Councils and 800 Amenity Societies also belong to the organisation - making it a powerful force at both local and national level. The charity works closely with fellow campaigners, government, businesses and individuals - seeking partnership with those of like-mind and challenging those who threaten the countryside.
