  The village of Clawddnewydd, Denbighshire has been awarded the title of 2005 CVOY for Wales. Representatives of the village were presented with their awards by Sir Roger Jones OBE, Chairman of the WDA and Calor's managing director, Howard Kerr.   The village of Ffarmers, Carmarthenshire is the 2005 winner for South Wales, having also won a regional category prize for Community Life.

  Michaelston-y-Fedw, Newport is the ICT category winner for South Wales.   Wales launch - this shows the launch of Wales' new competition on St David's Day (March 1st) in the village of Llangernyw - the Welsh Calor Village of the Year(R) for 2004. Children from the local school put on a concert.
