The waiting is over! The Overall Winner of the 2007 Calor Village of the Year® for Wales has been announced at a special awards ceremony at Skinner's Hall.
We can officially reveal that the winner is...
Our congratulations go to the villagers of Lawrenny - who can celebrate a total prize of £3,000 for the awards they have collected in this year's competition.
Lawrenny becomes the second successive Pembrokeshire village to land the top title, following the success of St Dogmaels in last year's competition.
Congratulations, too, to beaten finalist Overton on Dee. The Wrexham village was pipped to the post for the major prize, but still receives prize money totalling £1,500 - and holds the honour of being North Wales' finest community.
